Carrie Underwood and Steven Tyler are taking the stage together for "CMT Crossroads" on Saturday and bonded over their shared "American Idol" experience.

"You were why I took judging for 'Idol,' you are exactly why," Tyler told Underwood in a preview for the CMT Crossroads, which can be seen below. "Not only could you sing good, but you adapted to this...it's a pit! It's a deep, dark, ominous pit. And you get out there on-stage at night with that band, that great band you've got and you make people feel happy, first and foremost. All the rest, if people knew what we went through to get out on that stage... you have gotten past that and not a lot of people do - they have to get through drugs and alcohol, booze and divorces and even those didn't make it. You were a natural at it."

$3B WWII Wreck

A treasure hunter is claiming that he found a sunken World War II ship which contains $3 billion worth of platinum. Greg Brooks, co-founder of Maine-based Sub Sea Research, says his salvage firm has allegedly located and identified “the world’s richest shipwreck” — the S.S. Port Nicholson — in waters off the coast of Cape Cod, Mass. That’s where the vessel is known to have gone down after being attacked by a German U-boat in June 1942 during a voyage from Britain to New York City via Halifax.

Brooks said the Port Nicholson had 71 tons of platinum that was worth $53 million at time it was attacked. The platinum was reportedly a payment from the Soviet Union to the U.S. for war supplies, he told The AP.

AG blamed for Joe Paterno's downfall

An attorney for former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky blamed the attorney general's "embellished" rhetoric for setting off the furious public outcry that led to the downfall of longtime coach Joe Paterno.
Karl Rominger said in an interview with abc27 News of Harrisburg, Pa., on Wednesday night that Paterno was the victim of an unwarranted media storm fueled by the attorney general's office and blamed prosecutors for making November's grand jury presentment against Sandusky so graphic it helped hound Paterno out of his job.

First single from new Madonna album released February 3

The first single from Madonna's upcoming album "MDNA" is called "Give Me All Your Luvin'" and is set for a February 3 release, two days before the singer performs at the Super Bowl on Sunday.

The track features Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. and was composed by Martin Solveig and Michael Tordjman, and marks Madonna's return to music after focusing on directing her new movie "W.E."
MDNA, to be released on Universal Music Group's Interscope Records on March 26, will be the singer's 12th studio album and the follow-up to 2008's "Hard Candy" which debuted at the top of the charts in 37 countries.
